Interesting.  Certainly the new ones are round but the wooden handles say it is new as the old Furphy's had a wire spiral handle.

Looks too new though.  Maybe someone is making them.

They were for sale about 18 months ago at the local camping store for around $40 from memory, almost bought one

Sure they were square Derek as we had a round one when I was a young fella and remember thinking the square one was a better for the modern bread slices.
I will go and check this week to see if they have any, I remember they had a few Chinese Furphy CO's as well at the time so they would have been from the same factory

It does't look right to me either. The kangaroo and koala look very amatuerish to me. The ridges look very straight and even, and then you have those handles..................... I'm steering clear.  Cool

Hahaha, after seeing that I wouldn't sell it for that price. Anyway it is our favourite iron and use it all the time.  Does anybody know who bought it?  Cheesy
