Picked this up from flea bay.

Bloke really had no idea. Recons that it was from his daughters husbands family. Said " Aussie Made" and around 1940's.

Me I dont think so, has a lot of Chinese in it. Bail arm was incorrectly fitted, and was in need of a decent season.

Here are a few pics

Front

Bottom

...

Has no markings whatsoever that I can find. Measurements are as follows

Inside top 11.5"
Inside Bottom 9.25"
Depth 6"
Legs are 0.75" long

Anyway, as it was cold and the pot belly was on I though that I should cut up some cabbage, onion, potatoes, Pumpkin and throw them in along with a bacon hock, split green peas , split yellow peas and some lentils.

After 4 hours, mmmmm, pea and ham soup.

Good way to break it into " My Family" I recon. Will throw some meat in her tomorrow night and see how she goes.

Cheers

I would think Chinese, the tear drop handle is a give a way. Ovens like these have been around for 40 years or more I have one , cooks just as good as a  $ 200.00 one.

He'd never make a member on COCIA..

Anyway

it cooks good meat as well.

Did a lamb in her and all good there. Took a bit of getting used to as I am a spun steel boy.

Cheers
