Stopped at the Riverview Caravan Park at Tumut.  A pretty town. It was cold but we went prepared and it didnt bother us.

Then on to Burrinjuck Waters, the dam wall area was closed. Sunshine all the time and not much wind either.

Lots of camping sites of all descriptions and although we stopped on the terraces there were non powered sites down the hill nearer the water.  The dam was 92% full which is great.  You could have drum fires and some large stone fireplaces could have been used to camp oven cook.

We were simply on a pick up trip and didnt do much cooking.  Would be a good place for a gathering with lots going fishing while we were there but we never got to view any catches.

I don't really like the cold but I go prepared and don't sit up late with a mountain of down donnas to snuggle under. I also have a poncho handspun and at least half a sheeps wool which can top 9 thermal layers.   So my early morning rising is also not a problem. LOL

We have a smaller cub and were happy with it.  The EBay addict saw this which has a pull out kitchen pantry more internal storage and more off road capability. It will give the MOTH something to modify and something to sell on eBay.  The insurance girl queried "do you have three trailers?" probably not for long.

I actually enjoy the camper trailers better than the van when we don't move on each night and the weather is fine.
