A couple of months ago Bill Thompson from Southern Metal Spinners rang me and basically said, "I've done it again.  Had the opportunity to get some good steel in and decided to make a camp oven wind shield."  Bill will always do this when something good comes along.

Not surprising a few days later and one was on the doorstep.  It consists of four flat panels that slide together the same was as the Camp Oven Mate.  Very compact as seen sitting on a 12" oven in the photo.

The angles are designed so that you can fit it together to suit a small or a large camp oven.  In the photos below is a 12" Lodge and the other is a 16" Lodge.  (Yeah I know the camp ovens are dusty and look unused.  Grin )

Bill is selling these online at the moment through the website for $25.00 each although expect them in shops soon.

I thoroughly recommend them.

Cheers

Keep in mind that I've bought a COM (Camp Oven Mate) direct from Bill Thompson, SMS.

& then take into account that this pic comes from my online album and I'm sure I've posted it @ COCIA before.

It's a PD invention pre-COM.  Old license plates.
