I have one of these "in the mail".  I find although I love my other one the lack of depth makes it restrictive.  This is a reasonable price even allowing for postage.

I have one of those and you will find it is the same depth as your Camp Chef Muley.

You are right again. Just got out of bed and found a tape. I have another oven sitting there that I thought was the Muley. What did you pay for it to be delivered?

Lodge does make what they call a Deep oven in some diameters.  Look for 5" or 'Deep'.

The standard US depth on an oven is 4" or thereabouts.

The word 'Logic'  is the current version of their ovens which means it has that factory seasoning.  I always do 3 more seasoning coats.  Or I wouldn't use one those ovens without additional seasoning.

What you don't have to do is take off that old wax coating they used to do.

Hope you enjoy

Cool

Carolyn

That is a great price considering a 12" Camp Chef normal price at Anaconda is $109.98

Well done

Thanks LK.

I often take the potjie as my second pot but am thinking when this arrives my two 12" will piggyback in a fairly stable manner when I want two layers cooked at once at gatherings i.e. chicken wings or meat balls etc

I do have the ultimate that has two layers but can't say I have been happy using it.  I think if the inner layer came out more smoothly I might have given it a few more tries but its awkward to get in and out and keep even.
