Hello all!

We've just taken delivery of our first camper trailer and now expecting to be able to get out and use our CO more often! Looking forward to some great recipes and food ideas from here.

Hello Lil & Co.

You will find some wonderful recipes here and plenty of advice from expert camp oven cooks
(not me, I'm still experimenting)

I especially like Carolyn's powerpoint presentations as they are fantastic visual guides and Derek's you tube videos are a great example of how to do it 'out bush'.

The competition recipes are 'the best of the best' in my opinion and have set the bar as far as my goals are concerned.

New downloadable / printable heat bead charts are available for cast iron camp ovens - fantastic for when you're in the middle of nowhere with no internet connection and can't access Derek's online heat bead calculator.

I suggest purchasing a pedometer - so you can ensure you are hiking far enough to work off all the fabulous food your camp oven and this community will inspire you to cook Cheesy
