Hi Derek

Thank you for kind words.

Its actually a Commodore, two wheel drive,  and I have traveled all over central Australia in it. You only ever need 4WD if it rains .... and then they close the roads anyway ... and big fines if your caught because they have to grade out your trqcks once its dry ... so the bill is hefty ... lol

Thanks for kind words Aart. I am sure you will enjoy. I first started traveling out there in 2000. When they said (in 2000) its the 'worst drought in history' .. I thought I would go and see and then I would be able to say to all those old bushies, 'yeah, well I have been in a drought worse than you have' ..... lol

But it didn't work out like that. It was so devastating and at the same time so awesome that we have been going back year after year ever since.

cool bananas ... greg

Great photos, one of those bunks looks to be very high, a bit like a massage bed.

Thank you for liking the photos. Yeah ... my ol' mate Roscoe is nearly crippled with arthritis ..... that higher bunk is easier for him to get in and out of during the nite. But it is a pain in the arse to pack up and load.

Thank you Jack ..... an with a name like Outback I'm sure you have passed that way before today.

I think far western NSW has more to offer the visitor than any other state. Broken Hill is a great city and within a days return drive you can visit and see so much both north and south.
