G'day Everyone,

I have been lurking on the site for a couple of weeks and like it so I thought I better join and introduce myself.

I'm not such a great cook but have enjoyed goin' bush camping, Bowhunting and 4WDing for most of my life. I have an old camp oven that was my fathers which I have used a bit over the years.

I enjoy taking photos while I'm out and about seeing our great country.

I'm sure I will learn a lot (already have) from the forum.

Jeff

Thanks for the welcome fellas, appreciated.  Smiley

Nelson, No my oven isn't an Albion but from looking on this forum it is the same as the one in the 'Queensland Railways Camp Oven' thread.

My father was quite old when I was born in 59 (his first wife passed away and he married my mum and had a second family) and the oven was around when I was a kid. It is the 12 inch one but it never had a handle on it.  Undecided My home town is Childers so not far from Bundaberg where the oven may have been made from what I read in that thread.

Jeff, there is a member here goes by the name of poddy dodger.  If you are nice to him he could create a good handle for that old Railway Camp Oven for you.

Sorry PD, couldn't resist it
  Cool

Cheers
