This is good,  working it out slowly.
A firepit to provide hot coals for cooking on the bricks.
Not for cooking in/over the firepit as I first thought.

I use metal trays or other bricks over the paving to put the coals on.

The plan is to have cooking over the fire as well, when I fisnish the swing away device.
