Only online for a short stint, but thought you would like to know that the tradition of jaffles is not extinct.
Didn't get a pic but there were Jaffles on the menu at the one and only store in Nelson.  Smiley

If you keep coming over the border into SA, I am sure there is Jaffle King store, take away

(like KFC) in Mount Gambier, and I know there is one in Millicent, (50 kms. further on.)

Apparently they are proper A1 jaffles. They  sell chooks (cooked), and all takeaway tucker.

Gaz

ps. no affiliation crap etc.

Now that makes me think that we could have a JIG

Would be good to see some JIs come out at a COG

Derek, it was the cooked variety of Jaffle, not the irons for sale.
I hadn't seen that before, but will check out for Jaffle snacks as we edge into South Oz.
And some JIG efforts at a COG, now there's a good idea.
