A pair of welding gloves and some quick movement!

Must admit, I didn't have to move it with the coals on top as the original HeatBeads cooked it well.  I sat it on a trivet to cook and could easily put coals underneath or take them out with tongs.

It does come with screw in legs that I didn't use on this occasion

When I moved it from the cooking table to the eating table I used a pair of welding gloves.

I will take some photos shortly of all the bits and bobs it comes with.

We are off for a few days to Childers to visit family.

Look forward to the photos when you have time Derek.  Enjoy your trip away   Smiley

I agree about the Woody being a good traveller - it would certainly stand up to more abuse that cast iron.
We have a cast aluminium rectangle frypan that has been humped from A to B for over 20 years and still looks fantastic - though it is usually reserved for on top of fire grates or gas cookers, it's never had coals actually touch it.  We replace the rubber hose over the handle every so often but that's all the TLC it gets beside washing and towel drying.  The poor thing has been dropped, bashed, almost driven over and survived the offspring learning to make breakfasts etc

So if that is any indication the Woody should be able to handle all but a nuclear blast perhaps  Wink

The judge's decision is final... unless the 3rd umpire is called for... or a facebook campaign goes viral !!!
