Hi all,

Tried making some Cheese, Bacon and Onion scrolls, they came out rather well.

All made with wholemeal SRF.

Regards
Hawker

Hi Edwin,

The recipe (as such) is,

1 1/2 cups Wholemeal SRF.
Pinch of baking powder.
1 egg beaten
3/4 cup of cheese.
3/4 cup milk
Bacon or Ham (cooked)
1/2 onion finely chopped.
Cheese for topping. ( Tasty OZ cheese)

Slightly cook bacon and onions.
Mix SRF flour, baking powder and cheese in a bowl.
Mix egg and milk together, and slowly add to the dry ingredients, mix with a knife until a sticky dough.
Roll out on a floured board till about 1cm thick.
Sprinkle bacon and onion mixture over the dough, roll up like a swiss roll.
Top with milk for glazing, cook in CO for about 20 mins, add some grated cheese then cook for another 3 mins.
I used a 10" CO with 12 beads on top and 6 underneath,

Good Luck.

Hawker.
