Yes, I have made my visit to Australia - mid September through mid December, 2012.

& yes, when Derek was asking me how I was affected by hurricane Sandy, I was no where near Canada.  If I recall correctly, I was in the middle of some technical problems.

& yes , the day after I got home my 2003 computer gave up the ghost.  As for Muzz, this gremlin took some sorting to get the trip pics downloaded.......

So far I have sorted out two campgrounds to share.  After years of camping, etc. I can locate a boondocking or free camping spot easily over here.  There it took me awhile to begin to ask the right questions of the right locals.

I  found Bundarra cg by choosing a seondary road  driving by it.  It is on a river, but I am not sure of the river name.

Picnic tables are for 7 foot high guys, not the whole family.  Toilet meets the needs of 20 or so camping rigs that were there the weekend I was.

Father was clearly showing son the camping how tos.  Rig was to left of this campfire.  & the adjoining land was mowed on Monday

ps. I did not hunt up COCIA events since I have a very heavy salt restriction on my diet and I think it would be rather rude to go see folks getting together over food and say I could not eat what they had cooked.

This campground has a nice center portion and is clearly known to a antique car group.  They stopped by for coffee break and chat.

The people I and a fellow camper talked to said they had a list of what the group would do each day.

Yes, I would go back.

Thanks for asking.

I am glad I did as much homework as I did, because there sure are lots of things to learn.

Yes, campervan, yes drove myself.

Pics are getting organized.  QLD, NSW, Vic, SA, mostly country because I am a country person.

BTW tell me should I do something here on Copeton Waters State Park.  That was a pay for place and some parts of the year they are crowded out of house and home.  I accidentally got there at a quiet time.
