If my local camping store can sell them.....prob..Mitre10 or bunnings would too Derek..it was in a clear plastic bag (no brand name)....along side lots of gas fittings and adaptors

Thanks Dave, tis on the shopping list! 

To make sure I read you correctly... the knob controls the gas flow/flame height, but doesn't turn the gas off altogether. You still need to use the lever for that bit.  Yeah?

I'll print a photo and take it in to the shop with me so they know which widget I'm after this time. I swear the poor Getaways man has a bald spot directly related to me trying to explain the item I want verbally   Wink

Yep LG.....pictures are worth a thousand words they say....Yes.....we turn the origional valve fully on.....light gas then adjust flame with new valve........turn off using origional valve

I can recall buying one of these years ago to use for a gas lantern on an extension pole.
