I'm down in the dumps a bit. Sad
Can't have a fire when we go camping.
Can't have a beer or three around the camp fire.
Guess I will just have to cook a feed up on the back porch and have a beer or three.
Hope the bloody phone don't ring.
Bring on Winter.   Smiley Brian

I'm hearing your pain.

me too Brian. My Council has banned campfires until the 10th May!   Cry

The judge's decision is final... unless the 3rd umpire is called for... or a facebook campaign goes viral !!!

I know fire bans are there for a good reason but boy, that must be so frustrating at times.  Makes me more determined to work with a few manufacturers to promote alternatives to cooking on a camp fire. Smiley

I have been working on an enclosed gas cylinder type for my small camp oven. Heat beads on the bottom and no heat beads on top.Still got a bit of work to finish it off but I tried it last weekend with a beef and veg. roast and it worked real good. Will post some photos when finished. Cheers Brian.

I think though that in some situations even Heat Beads would be banned as well.  This makes it double annoying.

Gas is the way with a Camp Oven Mate however a lot of people are not sure of it.  Working on that at the moment.  The new Camp Oven Mate has been developed.

At least you are still getting a feed in your ovens Brian
