No worries Steve, it's always going to be difficult making a weekend to suit everyone. If you want to be involved in a Cog, let us know when and where you woul like to go.

Smokeydave and myself camp regularly, so making it a Cog ain't difficult. You seem keen with the campovens so would be good to catch up.

Towitta is a day trip from Adelaide if anyone wants to call in for a visit on Saturday.MWe will be cooking extra to take home for our mothers day dinner Sunday arvo.

Don't worry about the typo's.too hard to fix on the mobile.

One more week to go.

About time we met up again Smokey, after camping opposite ends of the Murray last weekend  Smiley

It's gunna be bloody scarey if there's only the 4 of us there  Smiley Smiley

The cemetery is next to the campground, and the infamous Towitta Murder is still unsolved

http://www.sedan.sa.au/bertha-schippan/

I'll see if the caretaker will leave a nightlight on for us.

It will be an easy camp cooking weekend. I'm thinking of cornish pasties, fruit scones, apricot crumble, dump cakes, maybe a kangaroo stew, banana & sultana jaffle's, camp oven roasted nuts.

We will be taking a few containers to store our goodies for our Mothers Day Tea Party when we get home.

One advantage if no one else comes along is that SmokeyDave will probably attempt again his famous naked campfire leap.

Last attempt, (and it was purely coincidental) this was on the radio  Smiley Smiley

Kangaroo Kasserole sounds good for me Dave. I'll look for something different at the Wild Game shop.

I might even try smoking kangaroo.

Could have some showers on the weekend, Yee Haa !!!!!!!!!!! my style of camping.

But of course we should utilise the large corrugated veranda if it gets too wet.

Our mate Bill stopped my banana from swinging that night at Towitta

But ol' mate here nearly knocked himself out with his swinging banana  Cheesy Cheesy

Possibly will be one of the smallest gatherings ever organised if Brian has to work.

The smallest that I have been involved in was a bush poets 4wd club trip to Murray Bridge. Cindy had to sit in the backseat so our convoy had a tail-end charlie  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

I'm glad that we have put this up though. ''From little things, Big things grow''  Smiley Smiley

Dave and I have both been hosts to 3 vehicle meets before with the campertrailer group.

That grew to around 12 vehicles to Towitta 4 years ago.

http://www.campertrailers.org/towitta_weekend.htm

And last visit to Towitta we had around 56 people at an allsorts gathering

Looks like you might get to do you Naked Campfire Dance again ''Dangles''  Grin Grin

Bloody Beautiful. !!!

Enjoying the peace and quiet after overnight rain.

Just got to sneak the memory card from smokeydaves camera.

He loves taking pics of black bits, and he snuck around snapping a few yesterday.
