It's been raining all night and drizzling all day, so I was granted special permission to do a camp oven roast on the back veranda to celebrate Chief's return home from a week in hospital.   Smiley   Sometimes it's who you know, not what you know   Wink

A little lamb rolled shoulder and a spud each, in a 4.5qt oven. Only took about 30 minutes to cook.
Popped a metal cup hook on the side wall to let the steam out about half way through.
Some steamed vege (microwave bag thingies) rounded things off.

Chief happy having a proper solid food meal for the first time in a week.  Smiley
Teen happy having a decent feed before his afternoon shift.  Smiley
LG happy cos I got to cook the way I prefer   Smiley  Cheesy

He's still feeling like a wrung out dishrag, weak as a kitten, but is definitly improving.
Couple more days Electrolytes should see him back to normal.

He said "thanks for asking"    Smiley

LOL - reckon I must have done!   Cheesy
We went for a 'kid free' camping trip for the first time in.... gawd, I can't recall the last time!  Wink

We were giving the new ute a trial run ahead of a longer kid free trip in Spring.
Can we get everything we need in the vehicle without taking the trailer?
Yeah - but it's a bit of a hassle.

Since everything is stored in or on the trailer already, it is easier to simply hook up and go instead of try and load it all in the ute and juggle things around as we need them.  I can take my 190lt water barrel on the trailer too, so no need to worry about 'iffy' water during the trip.

(he says.. Thanks, and she wears me out every day!)   Roll Eyes
