I thought the biggest sympathy vote went to the winner as apparently he was first to enter Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes  LG what's the problem with heat beads thought you could use them anywere. All right then I won't tell the voters that this will be the first time I have cooked this dish, or how hard it was to pay for my new cooking device  Cry Cry Cry Grin Grin whoops apparently the neighbours chooks have pet names, we only called ours food type names, looks like I just lost the resourceful vote. Wink

Hahahaha .. Mummy where's Dodgem?  He didn't dodge fast enough and is in steve's pot  Shocked

Nothing wrong with heat beads steve, just a brain dead city council who decide to restrict camp fires til 10th May
(and a firefighter who needs a lot of 'logical discussion' to turn a blind eye)   Wink

As for the sympathy vote... I sympathise with the friends and family who have to listen to the whines about 'everyone copied me'  sheeesh!     Cheesy

Anybody who wins a camp oven cook-off first time out of the block is not eligible for the sympathy vote!  Grin

My chicken is up, this is my first go with this recipe as well. I think I should have had a little more heat on the lid to crisp it up quicker, but it was very nice to eat.

LG your looks pretty good to me. Smiley

Smiley Bonnie...
I think I will make some modifications when I make the Sunshine Chicken again.
Not sure why a person needs to fry raw rice.
Next time I will simply steam the rice as per normal   Smiley

Yours looks rather yummmmmmm too.
Chief has already put it on his 'I want...' list  Smiley

Who would have thought to use Ritz in that way!  Was it because they ran out of breadcrumbs, or were they pisshhht, or a dare to do something unusual with crackers?  Is that how we originally got pavlova... or vegemite!
[brain hurts]

Nice one, SmoothzSilk!

Finger food is important for sitting back, relaxing with a nice glass of your favourite tipple - that is why they have peanuts on pub bars etc.  I think your little chicken rolls are a perfect little nibble in such a situation.

Has anyone else seen the Boy vs Girl MKR advert?
All this 'I'm the worlds greatest cook' bragging from the men and they can't even get a feed posted up...pffft.  Bloomin slack bums!   Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

It is good to see some creativity coming out in this competition, 4 different dishes already.

I had better get cooking for our dinner tonight.
