my better half, Nellie cooks up some of the best curries i have ever eaten, pretty sure she has done a bachelor of currie, and not told me  Wink.
And as well as a course at the spirit house which i know of.
Some of these dishes she even makes her own pastes / bases the day before and spends hours prepping 3 or 4 different curries for dinner parties and occasions, awsome stuff..

any ways, she was doin a basic rogan josh the other nite for an easy feed, so i mentioned doin it (cooking  Roll Eyes.) outside in the camp oven..rito, will let the pics do the cooking.!!
ingredients.

800g aussie lamb chunks
2 chopped onions
1 table spoon minced garlic
3 table spoons pataks rogan josh paste
1 cup beef stock
1 cinnamon stick
5 cardamon pods
1 cup water
2 tablespoons veg oil
1 can diced tomatoes
4 diced spuds.

brown the onions , garlic, then the lamb.
add the rest.!! takes bout 2 hrs bubblin away.
check on the 1/2 hr in case a bit of water needs
to be added so it doesn't dry out to much.
grab a beer.

...

some popadums, mango chutney, easy..
cheers.

The judge's decision is final... unless the 3rd umpire is called for... or a facebook campaign goes viral !!!

Made this last night and it is excellent and rivals any Rogan Josh I have had in restaurants. I made it exactly to the recipe except for a couple more spuds and a little more lamb and I just used 2 cups of prepared beef stock instead of the one cup of water added to the stock.

Great stuff Kramer..

Nothing better than posting something and someone tries it out and comes back with a response.
