This is awesome, you gotta try em if you like sticky sip off the bone pork ribs.

...

marinade.
2kg quality pork ribs from your local butcher
500 ish ml smokey bbq sauce
2 big cloves garlic chop fine
1/2 cup white wine
2 tablespoons tabasco
60ml jack daniels
2 table spoons golden syrup
Enough water to cover ribs, mabe 4 -6cups.

throw all ingredients into camp oven (9qrt )and mix.
place in ribs, add water to just cover ribs.

...

1 1/2 - 2 hrs, bubbling away, until meat is starting to fall off the bone.
take them out carefully and place to one side.
skim as much fat off the marinade as possible with a spoon.

...

reduce the marinade until it thickens about enough to hang on to your spoon.( i put this bit on the gas top ,as i didnt light extra beads to reduce the marinade ).

put the ribs back in and simmer to heat up the ribs.
serve with chips ..

...

eat with fingers, and a good beer or wine.
deano.

(seriously good ribs.) Wink

experience is something you dont get until just after you need it.!!

I wonder what it would be like without the Jack Daniels Smiley  Something I would not buy usually.

Looks great though.

Should still go ok Derek, most of the flavour would come from the bbq marinade and golden syrup. Tongue

I have a bottle of JACK DANIEL'S Honey Smokehouse Barbecue Sauce in the fridge.

The nicest sauce I have ever bought.
