I wonder what the toe ball weight of that is when fully loaded. I like hard floor rear folds though.

My thoughts as well. Seems to be an awful lot forward of those axles.  Will ask him that when I catch up with him.

I have seen a few that would worry me when toeing, I have also seen a couple of people that have brought campers, only to find they need to upgrade the tug due to to much weight.

Yeah I like that as well. We had a Cub camper back in the 1980's which had the hard floor.

Yeah it does look like it would have quite a bit of ball weight. However, the main camper is over the axel and the water tank is at the rear. We had a Jayco Dove for 21 yrs and and it had the set back wheels and it sure had a high ball weight. In fact we used a WDH with it because of that.

Wow, a real beaut! But really, the toe ball weight could be a problem potentially, although it would be interesting to hear what the recommendations are.

I’m currently also considering buying a camper trailer, but perhaps something along the lines of the Rig Van 4.0 explorex (http://www.explorex.com.au/). Although the red colour on this one really does look amazing!

After having towed a camp trailer through about 50,000klm of  inland Australia, I must say that I am much happier now driving a very well equipped small motorhome touring the beautiful parts of coastal Australia where 4WDing and swagging is no longer necessary. I still enjoy the outdoors, camp fires and camp ovens. There was nothing better than sleeping under the stars in inland Australia where there is no dew. Out door living is just so enjoyable.
