                   Ingredients
3lb onions
3lb choko's, cut up
2 pints Brown Vinegar
1 Tablespoon Turmeric
1 ...........,....  Curry Powder
1 ................  Mustard Powder
1/2 Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
2 1/2 lb sugar
1 cup Plain flour
4ozs Salt

                   Method

Cut onions and choko's up small  (diced), cover with salt and water, let stand over night.
Next day, bring to the boil, cook till tender then drain liquid off. Add half of the vineger, return to the heat.
Mix turmeric, curry powder, mustard powder, cayenne pepper and flour with the rest of the vinegar to a paste.

Take the pot off the heat when adding Ingredients as the flour will ball up and make it lumpy.

Next add sugar, stirring continuously until thoroughly mixed.
Simmer steadily for 25 minutes.
Bottle while HOT.

      Cheers Ron.
