Cooked up some sausage rolls for the kids in my old Bedourie Camp Oven today.

A simple recipe consisting purely of puff pastry and Woolies chicken sausages.

First skin the sausages. Cut a sheet of pastry in four squares.  Place some of the sausage in the middle of each square, moisten one side with some milk and roll up.

Place on a baking tray with the seal to the bottom and bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until nice and crisp.

I like them with mashed spud, peas, corn and some sweet chilli sauce.

Lenards garlic chicken snags make a nice roll Derek, Ive sometimes mixed a bit of pataks curry paste into the sausage meat as well, another idea is to mix a bit of indian lemon or lime pickle into the sausage meat, Pretty sure you will have Aart around for a visit if ya do that  Wink
Nice job with the Bedourie....they are tricky buggers to use in my book.

If you can find good quality Italian sausages, they make a really tasty sausage roll.
