Will be staying for dinner and driving home sometime that night. Have you booked in for dinner yet? If brian ends up coming maybe we could make a table off it. Smiley Smiley Cheesy Grin Smiley Smiley Smiley

We are still coming along on the satdy, but we are camping elsewhere on the Murray. Only 40k's away.

Won't be booking for tea, but will see what happens on the day.

Well what a day i had on Saturday, 4th n the Cambrai cookoff, meeting rufzgutz, brianb and there wifes. And meeting other great people that like co cooking. The only draw back was the cold wet sa weather. We forgot to take the most importent photos on the day but here's a few that will hopefully tell some of the story. On the menu was roast beef, golden syrup potatoes, honey carrots, and onion and bacon graton. For desert lemonade scones. Smiley Smiley Smiley

A good effort mate, congrats. The menu sounded great. I think everyone deserves a medal being out in that weather. It looked too cold for a Queenslander. Grin

It was freezing and one group camped out in swags. As an ex qlder i braved the hour drive home and slept in a warm bed.
As for the trial dish it was the onion graton, man its nice. I got to hear one the judges say that she had never tasted onions like it. Smiley Smiley

Well Done Steve!

The judge's decision is final... unless the 3rd umpire is called for... or a facebook campaign goes viral !!!
