Went out for the day at Rainbow Beach for a bit a crabbing & fishing yesterday.

Tried out the new crab cooker as well.
It works great.

Yes.
It is the old jetty at Bullock Point.

Went out early this morning to check the pots.
Got 1 mudcrab & half a dozen sandcrabs.
The crabs were fighting in the pot & the legal one got its claw busted off.

Lots of jennies & undersize ones thrown back.
Each pot had crabs it it.

Got up early to go check the pots.
Needed a strong coffee to get going after consuming a few amber ales last night.

Pictures are of this mornings (23/7/13) catch.

Just about to leave to catch the tide to have a fish.

Tis a nice place.  My old stomping ground.  I know every inlet and bay in the Tin Can Inlet all the way from Tin Can Bay itself right up to Hervey Bay.

I need to get back up that way someday.

Some great fish and crabs there.
