Saw this fly sitting on the spare wheel cover & I sprinted back inside the house to get my camera to snap a photo of it.
I was lucky it was still there.
I asked on a photography forum to identify what it was as I had no idea.

I have never seen one since.

Very pretty ... tries hard to restrain the SPLAT! response Wink

Apparently South Oz deliberately released these in certain areas to control snails.

The judge's decision is final... unless the 3rd umpire is called for... or a facebook campaign goes viral !!!
