Those who have known me a while will know I lived in Wagga Wagga for a couple of years during my chequered career so catching up on folks at present.

Will sort photos in the next few days.

It was a small affair with Dennis & Mary, Maggie & me, Rob & Lorraine and Lindsay & Jeannie.

We tended to share cook a bit with everyone contributing to a meal.

Stay tuned.

Ok, back on full Internet.

As I said it was only a small COG but what a weekend.  Great company and some very nice food cooked over the weekend.

Maggie and I stayed for the full week following the COG as it was such a nice place.

Here is a pictorial

The fireplace

...

Rob's Damper for morning tea

...

Morning tea and Derek's chicken and cheese sausage rolls

...

Jeannie's roast beef

...

Two pots of vegetables

...

Carving the beef

...

Vegetables galore

...

Dehydrated beans and the gravy

...

As formal a dinner as it gets in the bush

...

Morning tea again - Maggie's curry vegetable samosas (These are usually deep fried but this batch were baked)

...

Derek's lunch time shepherds pie

...

Couple of old cooks comparing notes

...

Under the Volcano is a roast lamb

...

That's how lamb should be

...

Baked vegetables.  May not seem many but that is a 17" Hardings camp oven

...

Jaffles for breakfast

...

Another view of the camp site along the river.  This was taken after everyone left except Maggie and myself

...
