Very interesting Derek, something else I'll make up in the next few weeks and see how good they are.

Derek,
It certainly looks the goods. I've watched the clip a few times working out an easy way to make and store it. I tried googling it to see if they are available is Aus, but appears not, so looks like a few days in the shed. I've got what I need to make it.

This video has got over 3000 hits on the COCIA Facebook page.  The guys who make it are currently looking at what is involved in setting up their online store for selling direct to Australia.

If they can be bought rather than made, at a sensible price, of course, then they seem to be worth having. We use our camp oven lots with our motorhoming group and that would be a great addition. I'll be checking regularly.

Hmmmmm……..to my mind this contraption has one major flaw, in that I generally like to use the CO lid as a pot lid during the cooking process and unfortunately with this unit, the lid is not available when used as a heat bead fire base. Another option may be to take along an extra CO to cook with, however that is not always convenient. Undecided
