Thinking of packing up and heading to the beach for a few weeks near Bundaberg before heading south for the COG.

You know . . . . sun, sand and all that . . . . and of course fishing  Wink

Has anyone stayed at the Elliot Heads caravan park???

I have not been there Derek but a spot of fishing couldn't hurt anyone.

Hi Derek
The Elliot heads caravan park is a great place to stay my beautiful wife and I go there regularly the staff are very accomadating. When we go there we love to go swimming in the river but we don't fish other people fish there and as far as I know they do catch fish. But the park is very relaxing and popular there is lovely walks along the park next to the caravan park you can walk along the park quiet far I am not sure exactly how far but it is at least three klms don't quote me on that one if you go you will enjoy and you can use ur camp ovens just make sure with management.

Its a great place to stay, if you have a tinny with you I can tell you some good spots both in the river and out the front to catch some good fish.
