Hi, anyone seen one of these ???, I may buy it what price would pay for one Smiley

I have seen a Furphy boiler of this type in the showroom of Kev Wignell Trading located in Collingwood, Melbourne during the 1990's. The business specialised mostly in wood burning stoves and heaters, however they also sold a range of cast iron cookware which also included Furphy camp ovens, a cauldron, hot water fountain and the little boiler.
I don't think these boilers would have sold terribly well, as at the time they were mega expensive compared to a second hand Kenrick or Clark which you could pick up for few dollars and as a result, I can't imagine there would have been too many of them made, so this pot may be quite rare. Wink

Hi all just got home and had a look at the little boiler in depth for the first time and it does nothing for me and since the lovely wife had these put in the deal with my 20 inch furphy and 12 inch Carmichael ovens it was up to her to do what she wants and she needs new SHOES  so it is for sale , but I will swap if you have any metters , carrons or albions of the uncommon sizes  , Astro has first go as he contacted me with first . Please email through the email on the forum

Gee K.D not sure if you will need a hug or not but I have never been to west wyalong ,I am Brett from the sunny coast that you contacted regarding my 20 inch furphys . Thank you Astro for info as I have been looking high and low to find out a little about it . I don't go much on the furphy ovens but I had to get the 20 inch for a pigeon pair for my other 1 and the 8 inch kangaroo oven and this little boiler along with a unreal 12 inch Carmichael oven was offered as a package deal . Very greatful for info . Cheers Brett

Got you confused with Brad from West Flaming Wyalong who owns a 20" Furphy.

Astro just wondering if you had a chance to find the price list with this boiler on it. I am looking forward to see what it was worth back then

I don’t recall having seen any of those lately. ..might be out of the market already and I’d really just be guessing if I gave you a figure.
