On any camping expedition, solo or in a group, I love to krakatinnie with my lunch (not something I do at home, I must add).  I've found, however, when in a group, there will always be someone who looks over the top of their horn-rims with a frown and scowl on their face, when they hear the fzzzzpt of the tinnie being cracked.

Having seen an article on this device somewhere in the past I thought I'd do something similar.

Step 1.  Get a can of Pepsi Max and empty the contents on the ground.
Step 2.  With a sharp pair of scissors neatly cut the top and bottom out of the Pepsi can and split the side.  The can cuts like paper.
Step 3.  Have the Pepsi skin hidden in your esky and quietly slip it over your tin of XXXX Gold.
Step 4.  Make a big deal of cracking the can of "Pepsi" in front of all the wowsers before you slip it into your coolie.
Step 5.  Ensure your grandson is not on the trip to yell out at the top of his voice "why did you put your beer in the Pepsi tin Pop?"

After all that, I'd better open that tin of XXX Gold depicted in the presentation hee hee Grin

Cheers

Seamus

Bugger them, frown and scrowl back then crack another one. Smiley
Its a pretty old trick, I once worked on a big job site with a lot of Irish blokes, one of them always had a cardboard carton of Chocolate Milk or Iced Coffee with him. Took me a while to realize there was a can hiding inside, He was damn good at his trade and one of the hardest workers on the job, but that carton was always close at hand.

After open heart surgery (and forced early retirement), the last thing the surgeon said to me was to have a nanna nap every day, following lunch, for the next three months.

Fifteen years on I'm still enjoying that nanna nap!  Cool

I like the Choccy Milk one SB  Grin
