I picked these tongs up on Fleabay for $15 (for both items).  The little shovel will come in handy I'm sure but the tongs were what I wanted.  Bit like using chop sticks for the first time but it gets easier  Grin  The Boss is happy I'm not using the long handled kitchen tongs any more hi hi.

Cheers

I just use a shovel for my coals mate. Wink I guess I will have to give heat beads a try one of these days though.

Perfect for cleaning out a Volcano Stove.

Volcano recommend to dump the ash out of the Volcano,  but I find that when doing that the ash finds its way inside the body of the Volcano.
If the handle is bent this little shovel would be perfect.

I prefer using these South African LK's tongs for Heat Beads.

Available from several South African internet stores in Australia.

Those are very practical tools you got. Take them every time you go camping. They’re handy and you can use them for a lot of things.
