That's a fancy name for a chook stew  Grin

Looks like it could be tasty. Is that mushrooms and onions ?

Wine or stock?

Put a flower in the photo and it would make a nice valentines meal  Kiss

I like chicken dishes whether they be fricassee, cacciatore, provencale, curried (Indian vindaloo or Thai) or just good old stew and dumplings.

Or even just a good old roast chook.

Just on that Maggie and I were out the other weekend and getting a little hungry.  Were in a small country town and the only shop open was IGA.  Went in and bought a roast chook, went back to the car, turned on the aircon, ripped open the bag, stuck it on the centre console and got stuck into eating it in the carpark.  Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

Back in my younger (Navy) days, when I didn't mind a beer or 12, I ended up on an Ulcer 1 diet for a spell.  Fricasseed brains, chicken, rabbit, fish, tripe and eggs come to mind.  No salt or seasoning other than a smidgen of pepper.  Bloody glad to get off that diet, let me tell you!!!
