When i was going to princess margaret caves , around late Jan, i was looking for some lighting equipment in order to use as lighting during the night as i knew that the nights in the cave would be warm and not be able to light a fire, during my search i found a 20W ( it was so bright it was blinding needed to put it in dim mode ) rechargeable work light and to my surprise it lasted about 3 hours the first night and 4 hours the next night , i was so surprised that it lasted me that long , i thought i should share it with you , wouldve done this eearlier but just found this forum , next on my list is naracoorte national cavesss Smiley))

I have a LED "Bat Light" from Bunnings, $27.00 and very good, its rechargeable and has magnets to hold it on the side of your vehicle or whatever.

I use head lamps a lot while camping or hiking and l have found them particularly useful for camp oven cooking at night were it can be difficult to illuminate the inside of the pot using conventional lighting like gas lamps, especially when you're for example checking whether the roast is done or thickening the gravy.

I'm with you  Stump. You can't beat a good quality headlamp whilst camping or fishing. I think having two hands free while having whatever you are looking at lit up, makes headlamps a winner for me. Most decent ones are rechargeable nowadays too.

Its not burnt. Just really well done.
