The best ever pie with mushy peas is from a little yellow pie cart on the beachfront in Cardwell NQ. 
And I'm having one tomorrow on my way through to Townsville.

It used to be Harry's pie van at the entrance to Garden Island Dockyard in Sydney but that is all a fond memory these days.  (Maybe I'm looking through rose-coloured glasses there, as I was usually a bit "left-footed" on my way back to the ship after a "run ashore" when I ate at that fine dining establishment).

Spoken like a true matlot... The Harry's Café de Wheels experience was like no other, and could never be confused with a pie floater..  Each had it own delights.. But a maggot-bag from Harry was the winner, prolly due to the medicinally proven hangover reducing properties..
 


A furphy, is Australian slang for a rumour, or an erroneous or improbable story.  You would never get anything but the plain honest dinky-di truth here... I promise!!!!  Yup, hand on my heart, promise, true blue, uh-huh true dinks, dead set!!
