We would have cooked more, but bludgenitis set in  Cheesy Cheesy

At one stage, we was cheering and urging shackles to make us look good  Grin

It was about 30 degrees Sunday, and the furnace around 300 C  Shocked Shocked

I planned on making scones and a damper, but the first sentence says it all  Smiley

From memory, food that was cooked on Sat/Sun ;

Brian & Sharron made some scrumptious jaffles, a mouth watering unbelievable cheese and chives damper  Smiley Smiley Smiley, a blind baked pie crust filled with apricot chicken, a roast lamb and veggies.

Rosie&Dave made a batch of very tasty Cornish pasties. And topped with some homemade tomato sauce. A curry chicken and fluffy rice and there should have been a chocolate self saucing pudding, but Silly Smokey left the ingredients home  Tongue but Rosie found enough to make a very tangy lemon self saucing pudding served with a scoop of ice cream. Everyone was hanging out for more  Smiley Smiley. Also a very tasty couple of meat loaves served with mash and gravy  Smiley

From our camp, we knocked up a very tender braised beef roast served with pan roasted potatoes and carrots. The beef juices and onion with a little corn flour added made a  very tasty gravy. Peeled a few tomatoes and made a small oven of tomato soup. A batch of very easy wok Chicken nuggets and an oven of marinated chicken drumsticks. also made a batch of very fluffy gem scones sprinkled with flaked coconut and a drizzle of honey.

I think that was all on the weekend menu.

Had plans of bacon and eggs on the campfire, but a bit awkward in our fire pit, so the powered site came in handy  Smiley

Ants at the camp were not a problem. But when I dropped and left an empty chicken tray on the ground for maybe 2 minutes, they came from everywhere  Shocked Shocked

Lucky that they soon left when the tray was removed.

The flies didn't bother us either, but Dave and Rosie seemed to attract them.

Probably a personal hygiene thing  Grin Grin Grin
