After a bit of thought I have started to fix the visible gap between the roof and camper, when the roof is down read to travel.

I first screwed and sealed a piece of 25mm x 3mm aluminium, and then a piece of 40mm  x 3mm aluminium. I have still left a gap between the roof and camper to allow for movement.
The front will look the same but I need to use 50mm to allow for the bolts for the actuators.

To me, it looks much better viably, and it keeps the seal in shape when down which should be better as well.

Before the new trim
after trim fitted
front still to do.
