Hi just brought this camp oven for $30 just wondering if it's any good, iv never restored a camp oven but I mite have ago, any info on this oven would be great, the precious owner said he never used  and it was given to him
Any info would be appreciated

Its just a Chinese oven Lewis. But don't let that deter you, clean it up and have a go. I like its long legs, you dont see that very often on a Chinese oven. Smiley

Here's a couple of photos of what iv been up to with this co
I put and angle grinder on it today with a wire brush and then put it in a molasses brew that I read about on the forum
Not sure if it's the right thing to do attacking it with a angle grinder wire brush but as you can see it came up pretty good,should I do this with angle grinder?

This is what it looks like before it went into the brew,
Just to let anybody know make sure you wear safety glasses and gloves while doing this when using a grinder I had fine steel bits in my arm and pretty bloody hard to pull out,hate to get piece in my eye

No need for the wire brush, you would have saved your self a lot of work by using the molasses first.
