Often the jaffle iron is from an unknown manufacturer, well that is my experience on a few I have.
I thought that this ID might be helpful.
While digging about recently I came upon this example, of which I have a couple, including a round one.
These images show a "Banner" jaffle iron or quicksie (not a quickie, which is another thing altogether)
as they are sometimes known over this way.
I have moved the images from the link to my files and downloaded from there so they will be here
to view for as long as COCIA exists.
It is an easy thing and an effort that others could follow so these topics stay relevant. Also for future reference.
Derek??? Cool

Well, blow me down.

Jaffles (and jaffle irons) are a dinky-di, true-blue Aussie invention.

I did not know that.

Can rember that original one from when I was a kid. Cook ups in the back yard and at Crescent Head during holidays.

Thanks for that Rabbitz, I recently bought two JIs from the Salvos, $8 ea and have been giving them a real work out the last couple of months, quick and easy lunch.

When I die I hope my missus doesn't sell my camp ovens  for what I told her I paid for them. pd

https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Triple-Trojan-Jaffle-Iron-Camp-Cooking-Camp-Oven/133...
Ive bought and sold a couple of these over the years ..all ways made good money, but not this much. Seems that like camp ovens they just keep going up in price.

Seen it before.  You get two collectors both wanting something desperately and they just keep on bidding against each other.

To me there is no way it is worth that as they are not that uncommon.
