I recall posting up on here some time ago when we first found out Furphy had stopped importing camp ovens from China that the prices would skyrocket and they are.

Because some people do not know the difference, or choose not to know, between an Aussie made and a Chinese made Furphy they are starting to sell at nearly more than double new price two years ago.

Some are asking even more at present.

Just have to look at the lid handle to see where any of those Asian made Furphy's (or any other for that matter) are made. Grin
Dead set giveaway, but with a little TLC they do cook a meal ok. Cool
I have an early one (not Furphy) which is actually completely lathe machined inside. Problem is, the base thickness varies so much it is useless on coals. Embarrassed
