Like a lot of people I carry one of these blow mould tables for the Weber Q

...

I have always been concerned that it was going to slide off one day so set out to stop that.  Into Bunnings and found a pack of these plastic angles in the fly screen section.  They are for making the fly screen frames.

...

Set the BBQ on the table and squared it then placed the angles around the legs and marked them.

...

Drilled four holes in each angle then down through the table and secured them with 3/16 bolts

...

Now the Weber stays securely in the middle of the table and all for under ten bucks

...

I will have to show my brother your idea, he has 4 young grand kids now to raise, and I get concerned with them around cooking, It does not take much sometimes to make things safer.
