I got enthused today and did a little bit of work on the trailer to set it up to how we want it prior to heading off in a couple of weeks.

I built a ply box for the 140 litre water bladder. All glued and screwed. The box will sit a tad to the rear of the axle for weight distribution.

I am still to line it with carpet but sat it in the trailer to see how it was for size. It will be bolted through the floor of the trailer. The bladder I blew up with air just to see how it fitted in.

Made a lid for the box. While I dont expect any water to get in there I cut some holes just to ventilate it.

Put some stickers on the back to personalise it. Yes, they are a little crooked but Maggie tells me that gives it character.   Grin Grin

First load of water to test how it sits.  Note the ties on top to for a bit of stabilisation.

I have set it 100mm rear of the axle centre and with the bladder full no additional weight on the towball which I need to keep below 100 kg

That bladder of water is now draining.  Will run another one through it then pull it all out and line the box with carpet.

I am happy. 140 litres is a lot of showers

The box has been lined with an outdoors type carpet. It is sitting lose however the top is pinned with upholstery pins

It fills from the bottom and all I have to do is click on the hose, turn the tap on and open the stop cock

I have extended the breather on top in the event she over fills water runs outside to the ground. It simply unscrews and I screw on the stopper.

Since photos it is now bolted through the floor with six M10 Cup head bolts.

I am happy.

Starting to pack ready for the road. Stocked up on the good Heat Beads at Bunnings this morning.

The Kingaroy Choofer has it’s own timber crate rather than rolling around.  Smiley
