Yesterday was a very relaxing type of busy. Had a two hour afternoon siesta and cooking easy meals for two makes for easy camping.

Plenty of birds around this morning. I just missed getting a photo of two fighting kookaburras.

My body aches of arthritis and I do a little, sit and rest, do a bit more. I didn't think that I would get out in the canoe but I'm glad I did. Have to drag it back up tomorrow.

Simple meals again using my 8" Dutch oven. Sausage sizzle for lunch, chicken casserole and baked cored apple stuffed with sultanas for dinner.

No worries Brian. Do you want more   Grin Grin

It's very relaxing sitting around the campfire, making photo collages with a phone app, resizing with another app. That lot only takes maybe 15 minutes.

Made a wholemeal damper this morning.

Wholemeal S/R Flour and Stout. Mix with knife to get a dry consistency. (Tip from Cactus)

I experimented with some salsa and the end result tastes OK.

After I cut it, I realised that it would have been better to spoon it out from the centre of the whole damper. I will do that next time. We will finish it off with a vegetable soup for lunch.

The birds loved the crunchy biscuit like outside  Cheesy

It was an experiment Aart. I was going to roll the salsa inside the damper, but thought this was something different. Probably won't do it again. I like the egg idea, but tonight I might put cheese in the hollow.

This damper is so fluffy on the inside. Used home brew stout and wholemeal S/R flour. Nothing else.

Had a couple of boats drift past today.

Hi Rick
What a great looking spot, you have there.
I will have to start looking for a invite for the next one in your neck of the woods.
I better start  making some Camp Oven stirrers for it.
Enjoy the rest of your holiday

You will be a welcome addition to future SA Cogs Kev.
We are a bit short of numbers over here.

Last day today, so using up what's leftover.

A savoury mince cooked inside the van tonight.

Cindy knocked up an upside down pineapple pudding/cake. Didn't have any eggs.

Used sour cream on top as we often do on our desserts.
