Had a bit of a cook up on Saturday for a lunch time gathering, baked spuds , lamb shanks and salad. It was a good chance to cook in the new 24 incher.

Very nice.

I always used to cook shanks like that until I watched you do curry lamb shanks at the Lismore cooking comp.

Very good Rory, you must have mugged a butcher to get that many shanks. I would have had to save up.

Can get as many as I want here Muzz , but they aint cheap. It was a family BBQ day and I dont often have my family all in one place for a BBQ so I didn't mind spending a bit extra. Was good watching the grandchildren going cave man on the shanks, a couple had never had them before.

I'm a big believer in keeping it simple Rory. We had a family day last weekend, it was very cold so I did chicken noodle soup and a damper, no complaints.

When I die I hope my missus doesn't sell my camp ovens  for what I told her I paid for them. pd
