Bear somewhere around Warwick Qld. would be about the same distance as Alstonville for us.

Brian & Robert

I think you guys have more chance of getting a COG closer to you if you were to get together and pick a date and a location somewhere that suits you then see who can make it.

As you know we nearly all came to both Towitta and Silverton.

Maggie and I are planning on spending a big portion of next winter in the north so don’t count on us for a COG at this stage.

Would there be fire bans in march/april around broken hill?
I won't be in Australia in may/june.

This year fire season finished 31st March in the Broken Hill area.
Next year could be different. They could extend it into April if it a bad year.

Speaking of Broken Hill.  We were out there this time two years ago.  This is the Mundi Mundi Lookout out past Silverton.

Yes shakles but the time off for the wife is the difference she is still a working girl.

But as Derek said maybe we can organise one closer if you have any suggestions as I still do not know what is around me.

Maybe able to involve some other people from another forum. They just need a love of camp cooking and the bush.

Cheers Bear

If ever you wanted to have one in NQ I think I have found a good spot. Pre dug fire pit, powered camps with all the things needed.
