Setting myself up for failure here. Decided to run a bit of a "blog" on my trials and tribulations during the current marron season. Won't be heading out for my first trip till next week. Have seen some good catches coming already from further south so my hopes are high

Looking forward to hearing more.  Maroon are something I have never tasted but they sure do look tasty little things.

Been watching some of Graham's solo work on YouTube. Find it much more enjoyable than his 4wdaction stuff. It's called Ausolo on his Ecomuse Images channel

Smokey there are places on Kangaroo Island you can catch them in the wild. A Marron farm is also on the Island.

Just got back from the first trip of the season. Plenty of marron about but they seemed a bit skittish so tended to outsmart me a bit. 2 adults and 3 kids walking along the bank with headlights might've been a bit of overkill with the artificial light. Going to attempt a more stealthy approach on my next go. All up we got 6 on the first night and only 1 on the second night. Plus one redfin and 2 long necked tortoises
