Took KB out and showed him how to catch flat head. Score 2 - 0 . We turned the muddies into chilli crab for dinner.

Great work Saltbush. Top looking feed there. I can feel the crab juices running down my arms as I type. That is the best filleting job l have ever seen on a Flathead. Never seen that done around the rib cage before.
 

Its not burnt. Just really well done.

I taught my self to do it that way, I don't like bones in my fish. Doing it that way I end up with 4 fillets all without bones. Two from the top and another two smaller ones from the underside of  the rib cage. Its worth the little extra time that it takes.

Top filleting job for sure. I have never mastered flatties as I don't catch them often, but a fantastic eating fish
