I don’t know much about them but isn’t there 8 pints in a gallon??  If so that is 4 gallons.

I once saw one that was 12 gallons.

There is currently a 32 pint one on eBay

In the US Derek's figures are correct.

The Imperial gallon and the Canadian gallon are larger.

Google search shows:   (can't find how to do quotes here)

W-6). These units have the same name and, with the exception of capacity measures such as the gallon, the same values as US customary units. For example, before metrication in Canada, gasoline was sold by the imperial gallon (about 4.55 litres).

Thomas Holcroft and Sons Ltd. of Ettingshall Foundry, Wolverhampton England. They made a lot of hollowware and I have seen a number of the boilers, water fountains and also frying pans. I wouldn't say they are common but the odd items pops up every now and again.
