For this recipe I used two mini expandable cake tins as I saw Heston Blumenthal do exactly this recently.

First off I greased and lined the tins with puff pastry

Popped on the tops, crimped the sides, cut some steam holes and brushed with milk.

Into the Weber Q or alternately a preheated camp oven and cook for 40 to 45 minutes until nicely browned

Which resulted in two beautiful pies.

Maggie insisted on a green to go with them. Smiley. They really were to big to eat one each and next time we will only have half each

Finally score a Kmart pie maker and last night made pies with the left over Moroccan slow cooked lamb. Great dinner and a good use of left overs that is for sure.

They were Derek, bought a couple of the spring load cake dish that you use from kmart at $2 each to go in the van to make a deeper pie. Cheers.
