We have travelled all of those roads along that trip except Ebro to Grafton.  We usually turn off just past Ebro and head across to Dorrigo as Maggie’s dad is there.

We were in Dorrigo a few weeks ago and talked about going down the mountain that way next time.

Being free campers though cannot help you with caravan parks along the way.  The few we have stayed at over the years are usually pretty good with the price once you are away from the big highways.

Thanks Derek mostly we free camp as well but this time looking to community showgrounds, pubs or clubs that allow camping overnight with power. Not a great supporter of caravan parks. Need the power for the blankets and heater as it will be cold both up and back. Cheers Bear

Many moons ago we traveled the road from Ebor to Grafton. Never again. Might have changed since then.

About four years ago they did a lot of work on it Brian and completely resurfaced it.  Family drove it a few weeks ago and were surprised.
